How an Asian itinerary is put together

Most of our travellers combine two or three areas rather than trying to cover a whole country. A car and driver stay with you throughout, so the days are sequenced by driving time rather than by train timetables, and stops are added or dropped as the route takes shape.

  • Thailand — Bangkok, Chiang Mai and the coast.
  • Taiwan — Taipei, Taichung and Tainan.
  • Japan: Tohoku — one of several Japanese regions we cover.
