Choosing Your Guangxi Tour Length

Eight days in Guangxi suits travellers who want to see the region's landscapes and villages without feeling rushed. The pace leaves room for boat rides on the Two Rivers and Four Lakes, time among the stepped paddies of the Longji Terraced Fields, and a slower visit to Huangluo Yao Village, where wooden buildings sit among streams and forest. Our 5-day and 6-day versions concentrate on the central Guilin scenery, while the 7-day tour begins to reach further out. This 8-day tour adds more places and a more relaxed rhythm, with shorter travelling stages and more time at each stop. It works well for families, couples and small private groups who prefer a gentler schedule over a packed one, and who would rather spend an extra morning in one place than move on.

Guilin's "Two Rivers and Four Lakes" is a scenic area in southern China known for its stunning landscapes.
