Why choose the 8-day version rather than the 6-day or 7-day tour?
The 6-day and 7-day tours cover Jiuzhaigou well but keep travel days tighter. Eight days lets you add Dujiangyan and the Die Xi Song Ping Gou Scenic Area without cutting time elsewhere, and gives a spare morning for weather or altitude adjustment. Groups wanting a broader Sichuan circuit usually choose this length.
Is 8 days too long if we mainly want to see Jiuzhaigou?
It is not only about Jiuzhaigou. Eight days allows slower mornings, longer walks in the Die Xi Song Ping Gou Scenic Area, and an evening of Sichuan Opera Face Changing. Travellers who want a single-site visit often prefer the 6-day or 7-day departures instead, and we can shorten the plan on request.
