    Why choose five days rather than a shorter tour?

    Five days gives enough time to see the Two Rivers and Four Lakes area, the Longji Terraced Fields and Huangluo Yao Village without squeezing them into a tight schedule. A shorter tour would mean choosing between the city scenery and the terraced countryside, so five days keeps both within reach at a comfortable pace.

    Why not book the 6-, 7- or 8-day version instead?

    The longer versions add more places to the itinerary and allow a more relaxed pace, with more time at each stop. If your leave is limited, five days still covers the main sights of Guilin and the surrounding countryside. Travellers who want to slow down usually prefer the 7- or 8-day option.
