Paris, Rome and Santorini are the three most requested European add-ons for our clients, and each one has a single decision that determines whether the trip feels effortless or exhausting: which bank of the Seine, which side of the historic centre in Rome, and which village on the Santorini caldera.

Here are the hotels by district, with who each one is wrong for.

Paris: which bank?

Rive Droite (Vendôme, Champs-Élysées) is shopping, grand hotels and wide streets. Rive Gauche (Saint-Germain) is bookshops, cafés and a slower pace. Trocadéro is the Eiffel Tower view.

The historic centre (Piazza del Popolo, Spanish Steps, Pantheon) means walking to everything. The hills (Monte Mario) mean views, a pool and a shuttle into town.

Santorini: Oia, Imerovigli or Fira?

Oia is the sunset and the crowds. Imerovigli is the caldera view without the crush, 20 minutes from Oia. Fira is the practical town with the port and the nightlife.

How many nights

  • Paris: 3–4 nights. Three for the city; four if you add Versailles or a day in the Loire.
  • Rome: 3 nights. The Vatican, the ancient centre and one day out (Orvieto, Tivoli).
  • Santorini: 3 nights. Two is too short given the flights and ferries; four and you will have seen it.

A shape that works: Paris 4 → Rome 3 (flight 2 h) → Santorini 3 (flight via Athens). Ten nights, three very different cities.

Frequently asked questions

Which bank of the Seine should we stay on in Paris?

Rive Droite for shopping and grand hotels; Rive Gauche for cafés and a slower pace. First visits usually do better on the Right Bank.

How many nights do we need in Rome?

Three: the Vatican, the ancient centre, and one day out. Two is rushed.

Is Oia worth it in Santorini?

For the sunset yes, but it is crowded. Imerovigli gives the same caldera view with more quiet and a short drive to Oia.

Can we do Paris, Rome and Santorini in one trip?

Yes, in ten nights: 4 + 3 + 3, with short flights between them.
