Tourist Attractions

Nabana no Sato - One of the largest illumination and gardens in Japan.

Gujo Hachiman is located upstream of the Nagara River and is famous for its selected pristine spring water called "Sogi Water" and the summer festival dance known as "Gujō Odori."

The "Gokayama Gassho-style Village" is a world heritage site in Japan known for its nostalgic and beautiful traditional landscapes. It is a precious and picturesque village in Gokayama, where Gassho-style houses from approximately 100 to 350 years ago still exist, preserving the historical essence of the region.

Tonami Tulip Park - A city park where you can enjoy seasonal flowers with the theme of tulips, which are a specialty of Tonami City and the city's flower.

The deep mountains on both sides of Shogawa Gorge are decorated with cherry blossoms in spring, green and bright in summer, red leaves in autumn with distinct layers, and cold and charming when snow falls in winter. The scenery in each season is attractive.

Amaharashi Coast is an excellent location to appreciate the beautiful scenery of Toyama Bay. Since the 8th century, countless poets and writers have been drawn to its beauty, praising its magnificent views.

Takaoka Great Buddha, a bronze seated statue of Amida Nyorai located at Daibutsu-ji Temple in Takaoka City, is 16 meters tall.
It was completed over 26 years starting in 1907 by combining the best of local copperware manufacturing techniques. It is one of the three great Buddhas of Etchu, along with Kosugi Daibutsu and Shogawa Daibutsu.

Kenrokuen Garden is one of the three most beautiful gardens in Japan. It means a garden combining the six attributes of a perfect garden.  

Shirakami Senmai Rice Terraces are terraced fields located on scenic slopes. These terraced fields are situated on the edge of the Noto Peninsula and are designated as a "National Cultural Property and Place of Scenic Beauty."

 Higashi Chaya District - One of Kanazawa's largest geisha districts.

Nagamachi Samurai District is a well-preserved samurai quarter located in the heart of Kanazawa city.

Tojinbo is a cliff about 25 meters high, shaped by the rough Japanese waves. It is a designated natural monument and scenic spot with a one-kilometer-long rock face and dynamic columnar joints.

Daihonzan Eiheiji Temple is located deep in the mountains of Fukui Prefecture. Founded by Dogen Zenji in 1244, it is an active Zen temple of the Soto sect of Buddhism.

Echizen Great Buddha - At 17 Meters Tall, This is One of Japan's Largest Buddha Statues

Echizen Ono Castle, first built in 1580, looks like it is floating in the sky whenever the clouds are low.

Kurokabe Square is the general name for a corner of the old streets that continue along the Hokkoku Kaido Road. Centering on the "Kurokabe Glass Museum," a renovated old bank that has been nicknamed "Kurokabe Bank" since the Meiji era (1868-1912), the old streets are dotted with stores, workshops, galleries, hands-on classes, restaurants, cafes, and other attractive stores.
