Tourist Attractions
Yanagawa, the Water City, is one of the most famous water towns in the world.
Kusasenrigahama is one of Aso's representative tourist destinations.
Mt. Aso Nakadake Crater - Located in the Aso region of Kumamoto Prefecture in central Kyushu, it is the largest caldera in the world today. Nakadake and the central volcanic mountain group (Aso Godake), which are still erupting fire today, are called "Mt. Aso".
Takachiho Gorge was formed by stacked volcanic debris after the eruption of Mount Aso. After years of erosion, a V-shaped canyon was formed. The cliffs covered with columnar jointed rocks are also very spectacular.
Kurokawa Onsen still retains the simplicity, purity, and traditional Japanese style of the past, making people feel like they have entered another world, far away from the glitz and hustle and bustle of the city.
Kuju Flower Park - this is one of the largest healing flower fields in western Japan, with 5 million flowers of 500 varieties blooming throughout the year. There are also plenty of shops within the park, including restaurants, gelato shops, miscellaneous goods stores, and experience workshops.

Kokonoe Yume Otsurihashi Bridge - Japan's tallest pedestrian suspension bridge.

Hell Steaming Workshop Kannawa - Beppu Tekerin Onsen, where one can experience the traditional cooking method called "Jigoku Mushi," which has been used since the Edo period, utilizes steam from hot springs with a temperature of 98 degrees Celsius and 100% geothermal energy.

Hells of Beppu - The four hells, Sea Hell, Blood Pond Hell, Tornado Hell, and White Pond Hell, have been designated as national scenic spots under the name "Beppu Hells" in Japan.

In 2001, Beppu's steam was ranked second in Japan after Mt. Fuji in NHK's 2001 "Japanese Landscapes We Want to Preserve in the 21st Century."The night view from the observatory was also certified as a ``Japanese night view heritage'' in 2010.

Yufuin Floral Village - A shopping town designed to replicate England's Cotswold villages.
Yunotsubo Street - Located at the foot of Mount Yufudake, Yunotsubo Street is a bustling pathway filled with souvenir shops selling local products such as Yuzu Goshō (Yuzu pepper paste) and restaurants offering local specialties like Toriten (chicken tempura). It attracts numerous tourists seeking to explore the area.
At Uminonakamichi Seaside Park, you can not only enjoy seasonal flowers but also interact with small animals.

Mojiko is a port town located in Kitakyushu City. From the Meiji period to the early Showa period, it was a bustling international trade base and one of the three major ports in Japan.
