Five days in Chongqing give a private tour a comfortable middle pace: enough time to see the city's signature sights and one or two of the surrounding natural areas without rushing between them. You might spend a day around Hongyadong, where traditional stilted houses stand at the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers, and watch the trains pass through the residential block at Liziba Light Rail Station. Another day can be given to the Wulong Karst Tourism Area, a World Natural Heritage site with the Three Natural Bridges and Furong Cave. Can five days cover both Chongqing city and the karst areas?
Yes, at a measured pace. Five days allow time in the city around Hongyadong and Liziba Light Rail Station, plus a full excursion to the Wulong Karst Tourism Area, including the Three Natural Bridges and Furong Cave. If you also want Jinfo Mountain, the longer versions fit it in more comfortably.
Why choose the 5-day tour rather than the 6- or 7-day one?
The 5-day version keeps the travelling contained: city sights and one natural area, with time to rest between them. The 6-day, 7-day, 8-day and 9-day tours add more places and give each stop a more relaxed pace, which suits travellers who prefer fewer transfers in a day.

48 hours. Hotel and flight rates move with availability; the rate at the time of confirmation applies.

A private car throughout. A guide can be arranged to suit your group.
